Congratulations to the Rayffe family of Edenburg on the purchase of the top price ram for R28,000. This ram (JL 242032), born as one of a quadruplet, had breeding values of: number of lambs weaned per ewe lifetime -0.20 percent; weaning weight direct +2.28 kg; weaning weight maternal -0.23 kg; body weight +2.87 kg; clean fleece weight +0.22 kg; fibre diameter +0.10 micron and general merit of +7.18.
