Partner in the former Burnbank Dohne Stud, Carol Hale of Cavendish Victoria, passed away suddenly whilst teaching at the Horsham Secondary School where she had been posted for the past 9 years. Council would like to inform members of the passing of former ADBA Approved Classer and Elders branch manager Clyde McKenzie who passed away in the first week of January 2023. 
Clyde serviced the Riverina district for 47 years as a wool buyer, over these year Clyde was the District Wool Manager for Elders, along with serving 12 years as the Deniliquin Branch Manager.

Council Report 2021

The year 2021 was marked by the Covid-19 restrictions affecting all major activities of the breed society. The National sale however took place after the Foot-and-mouth non-event of the previous year. The sale which took place under Covid-19 restricted conditions, resulted in 30 top rams being sold for the average price of R35,600.
