Andries Greyling held the Charfontein Dohne stud’s annual production sale on Thursday, 16 July 2020 on his farm Humania, Vrede, Free State. A total of 88 top dohne merino rams were sold at the average price of R16222. The top priced ram with production figures of : growth rate +3.01 kg., maternal -0.34 kg., weaning rate -0.64 %, clean wool production +0.38 kg., fibre diameter +0.38 micron was sold at R34000 to Mr. Danie Muller, Frankfort.
A total of 400 excellent ewes were also on offer and sold. The price for open ewes were R2600. Ewewes bearing Single lambs were sold for between R3100 and R3400 while twin bearing ewes sold for R3400 to R3700.
