A total of 40 excellent Dohne Merino rams were sold at the average price of R12,888. Congratulations to Ernst van Rooyen who bought the top priced ram, JL203370 at R37,000. Breeding values for JL203370 were: weaning weight direct +1.947 kg; weaning weight maternal +0.142 kg; number of lambs weaned -3.132 percent; clean fleece weight -0.167 kg; fibre diameter -0.643 micron; general merit +4.60.
