Colia Heyns held LK Dohnes’ first production sale on Thursday 30 September 2021 at Ventersburg. Congratulations to Corlia and her husband Theo’s first effort to sell 29 excellent Dohne Merino rams at the average price of R12,630. Mr Hugh Enslin, Kroonstad, bought LK200067 at the top price of R21,000. This ram was born as one of a twin and had breeding values of: Weaning direct 0.837 kg; Weaning maternal 0.373 kg; Number of lambs weaned -1.463 percent; Clean fleece weight 0.053 kg; Fibre diameter +0.981 micron. It is trusted that this sale was the start to many more successful production sales for the Kleynhans family who are following in the footsteps of the late Mr. Jan Heyns.
