Louise Dohnes held their second production sale for 2026 on the 26th of September. A total of 40 rams sold at an average price of R11,050. Two rams were sold at the top price of the day for R17,000. Congratulations to the buyers on these purchases.
The van der Merwe family purchased (DH 230194), born as one of a twin, had breeding values of: weaning weight direct +1.14 kg; weaning weight maternal -0.40 kg; number of lambs weaned +1.55 percent; body mass +2.67 kg; clean fleece weight +0.18g; fibre diameter +0.41 micron; general merit +11.5 units.

Ric and Alta Bornman purchased (DH 230276), born as one of a twin, had breeding values of: weaning weight direct +0.99 kg; weaning weight maternal -0.36 kg; number of lambs weaned +0.36 percent; body mass +1.59 kg; clean fleece weight +0.38g; fibre diameter +0.34 micron; general merit +8.79 units.
