Nello Dohnes held their annual production sale on the 23rd of July under ideal conditions. The sale resulted in 80 Dohne Merino rams with excellent conformation being sold at the average price of R14288. The highest price for a ram was paid by fellow stud breeder, Mr. Julian Pienaar, Colesberg. The sale was marked by 12 pregnant stud ewes sold at the average price of R6333. The highest price of R8800 for a group of four ewes, is probably setting a new record for the past five years.
