Mr. Meyburg Erasmus staged the 20th but sadly also last production sale of Olmar Dohnes on his farm Osfontein in the district of Molteno on the 16th og February 2018. Fortunately Mr. Steyn Steenekamp bought this excellent stud and indicated that the stud will be kept in tact as a separate unit and will continue to provide pure Olmar breeding material to the woolled sheep industry. On this sale, 83 rams were sold at an average price of R9 801. A top price of R30 000 was realized for a ram sold to the next co-owner of Olmar Dohnes – Mr. Gawie van Zyl.
