Perdefontein Dohnes held their second annual production sale on the 27th of September 2024. A total of 31 rams sold to an average price of R13840. Congratulations to Koenas van der Westhuizen, Towerland Dohnes of Nieuwoudville, who purchased the top priced ram (MJ230111) for R25,000. This ram, born as on of a twin, had breeding values of: weaning weight direct +0.40 kg; weaning weight maternal 0.17 kg; number of lambs weaned +1.38 percent; clean fleece weight +0.06 kg; fibre diameter -1.09 micron; and a general merit +12.47 units.
