John Morris held the annual production sale of the University of Stellenbosch’s Dohne merino stud on Thursday, 16 July at the Elsenburg college of agriculture’s sales facilities. The total of 55 rams were all sold at the excellent average price of R12191. The highest priced ram was sold at R41000 to Bassgrow genetics, Darling with the second highest priced ram to Danie Erasmus, and Ilze Coetzee (manager), Fonteinkloof farming at R40000
