Suidplaas Dohnes held their second production sale of the year on the 6th of August 2025. A total of 79 rams sold for a seasonal high average of R22,076 with the top price ram selling for R130,000. Congratulations to Boontjieskraal Estate of Caledon on this purchase. This ram (JG240065), born as one of a twin, had breeding values of: weaning weight direct +4.66 kg; weaning weight maternal +0.260 kg; number of lambs weaned -3.25 percent; body mass +5.27 kg; clean fleece weight +0.03 kg; fibre diameter -2.20 micron; general merit +14.55 units.
