White Wools Dohnes held the first Dohne Merino production sale of the 2021 autumn sales season on 20 January, 2021. The total of 66 Dohne Merino rams were sold at the average price of R13,826 and the highest priced ram, WW180098, was sold to Mr. MA Lambrechts at R94,000. This visually excellent ram’s breeding values were: Weaning direct 4.642 kg; Weaning maternal -0.358 kg; Number lambs weaned 0.532 percent; 12 months body weight 2.858 kg; Clean wool weight 0.643 kg; Fibre diameter 0.897 micron.
