The sale took place on Julius’s farm Bessiesfontein in the district of Ladismith, KZN. and his top ram (J220309), sold to the Pleasant View Dohne Merino stud, had breeding values of: weaning weight direct +3.268 kg; weaning weight maternal -0.476 kg; number of lambs weaned -0.482 percent per ewe lifetime; clean fleece weight +0.330 kg; fibre diameter -0.823 micron; general merit +16.77.
