Blydskap trust held its annual production sale on their property on 09 February 2022. At this well organised event the total of 67 Dohne Merino rams were all sold at the average price of R16 463. Congratulations to Eksteen Family Trust and Crous farming who bought the highest priced ram at the price of R52 000. The ram BT200522 born as one of a twin and had breeding values of: weaning direct +1.950 kg; weaning maternal +0.628 kg; number of lambs born +0.108 percent; clean fleece weight +0.293 kg; fibre diameter -1.125 micron; general merit 19.540.
The total of 250 eleven month old ewes were sold at the average price of R2 700 each.
