Blydskap Trust held their annual production sale on 9 February 2022. The sale was very well prepared and a total of 67 rams were sold at the average price of R16 463. The top priced ram, BT200522, at R52 000 was sold to Eksteen Family farming. BT200522 was born as one of a twin and had breeding values of: weaning direct +1.950 kg; weaning maternal +0.626 kg; number of lambs weaned +1.027 percent; clean fleece weight +0.295 kg; fibre diameter -1.125 micron.
The average price for the 250 eleven month old ewes was R2,700.
