Mr Clark Rattray held Pleasant View Dohne Merino stud’s annual production sale at the Swartberg KZN’s auction centre on 11 August 2022. A total of 56 excellent rams were sold at the average price of R11,894. The highest price of R32,000 was paid for the ram CR200103 by Mr. Jacques du plessis of Fairbridge Agri, Maclear. CR200103, single born, had breeding values of: weaning weight direct +4.192 kg; weaning weight maternal +0.016 kg; Number of lambs weaned -3.823 percent; clean fleece weight +0.342 kg; fibre diameter -0.265 micron; general merit +17.47 units.
