FEM Dohnes Production sale 2019

Frans and Andries Marx held their annual production sale on Wednesday, 27 Februarie, 2019 after achieving highly successful results at the National Sale on 20 February. They sold no less than 95 rams at the average price of R10,990 on their farm Sewefontein, in the Burgersdorp district. Frans and Andries also sold 609 Dohne ewes at the excellent average price of R2,605. A total of eleven rams out of the total of 95 rams were sold at prices of R20,000 or more. The highest priced ram was sold at R50,000 to Mr. PJ Snyman,Kroonkop, Somerset Est who also envisages to start a Dohne Merino stud.
