FEM Dohnes held their annual production sale on the 26th of February 2025. A total of 96 rams sold to an average price of R12,276. Congratulations to the Dr Willie Booysen Trust of Fauresmith on the purchase of the top priced ram fot R68,000. This ram, (SD220405), had breeding values of: number of lambs weaned per ewe lifetime +0.96 percent; weaning weight direct +0.90 kg; weaning weight maternal -0.59 kg; body weight +0.32 kg; clean fleece weight +0.34 kg; fibre diameter +0.03 micron and general merit of +9.41.
