The Hobson and Steynberg annual production sale took place on 8 February 2022 on the farm Ganora near Nieu Bethesda. Mr Graeme Hobson, Ebenezer, sold a total of 19 rams at the average price of R9 684 and two rams were sold at the highest price for a Hobson ram of R12 000. Mr. JP Steynberg sold 38 rams at the average price of R10 579. Congratulations to Mr AJL Fourie who bought the Top priced ram on the sale, SF200401, at R17 000. This ram was born as one of a triplet and had breeding values of: Weaning direct -0.698 kg; Weaning maternal +0.367 kg; number of lambs weaned +6.216 percent; clean fleece weight +0.073 kg; fibre diameter -1.077 micron and general merit +8.13 units.
