On the occasion of the Wauldby Dohne Merino stud’s annual production sale, Mr Robbie Blaine Handed over the MJ Blaine Floating trophy to Mr Richard Armstrong on behalf of Mr. Peter Blaine, chairman of the Eastern Cape Dohne Merino club. The trophy is in recognition of the club member attaining the highest price on a production sale. This year Mr AJ Robb, Son of Mr. MJ Robb, bought the highest priced ram at R36000 on the production sale of Mr. Richard Armstrong. The donater of the trophy, Mr MJ Robb, also founded the robdorino stud 60 years back. Mr AJ Robb, this year, staged the 60th production sale of one of the oldest Dohne studs – Robdorino! Unfortunately the chairman of the club, Mr Peter Blaine (Ross Dohnes, another founding stud) could not personally perform the hand over on account of his health status.
