The production sale of the Wauldby Dohne Merino stud took place on the 13th of March 2018 . On this occasion Mr Robbie Blaine also announced the retirement of Dr. Allen Fisher who was responsible for selecting the Wauldby stud for resistance against internal parasites. Mr Baine sold a total of 34 Dohne Merino rams at an average price of R7779. The highest price ram (used in the Wauldby stud) was sold at the price of R31000. Mr Blaine also sold 50 commercial ewes at the average price of R1976. Mr Gerald Cawthorn sold three rams at the average price of R5000 and Mr Thomas Blaine (Ross Dohne stud) sold three rams at the average price of R4000. Dohne Merino farmers could obtain excellent rams at very affordable prices at this sale!
