Marcellene van Rooyen held Mullersvlei Dohnes’ annual production sale in conjunction with the Calvinia promotion sale on 30 August 2022. A total of 35 Dohne Merino rams were sold at the average price of R10,171 and a top price of of R22,000 was paid by Vyekraal Farming, Darling, for lot 12. The ram MV210082, had breeding values of: weaning weight direct +2.359 kg; weaning weight maternal -0.105 kg; number of lambs weaned -3.691 percent; clean fleece weight +0.499 kg; fibre diameter -0.832 micron; general merit +20.220.
