Pillipie and Japie Marais together with Hugh Collett held the second production sale of 2017 on the farm Vervulling in the Cradock district on the 24th of January. Demand was above all expectations and the 64 rams on offer were sold at an average price of R10,016. Stud ewes cast for age were sold at R1,800 each. The highest priced ram at R23,000 was sold to Mr. Graham Hobson, another Dohne Merino stud breeder from Graaff Reinet.
