Mr Wynand du Toit held the second production sale of Suidplaas Dohnes on 7 August 2019. A total of 120 rams were on offer and sold at the average price of R14,775. Mr Daniel Giliomee (Vlakkloof Dohnes) bought the highest priced ram at R75,000. A total of 22 ewes were also sold at prices varying between 2200 and R2300. The total of 210 rams sold during 2019 represents the highest number of rams sold per year by an individual South African Dohne Merino stud.
