Mr. Koenas van der Westhuizen held the Towerland Dohne Merino stud’s annual production sale on Tuesday 08 September at Nieuwoudtville. There were 62 Dohne Merino rams on offer and were all sold at the average price of R12935 and the highest priced ram was sold to Mr. Bertus Mong from Vygeboom at the price of R26000. The top ram JV190236 has excellent production figures of : growth rate +2.22 kg.; Maternal ability +0.48 kg.; Mature weight +3.42 kg.; Clean wool production +0.19 kg.; fibre diameter -0.22 micron and general merit +12.04.
