The annual production sale of Wauldby Dohnes was held on the 13th of March 2024. A total of 48 Dohne Merino rams were sold at the average price of R8094. Congratulations to the Pienaars of Burgersdorp who paid the top price of R23,000 for ram B210069. This twin born ram had breeding values of: Weaning weight direct +2.18 kg; weaning weight maternal +0.610kg; number of lambs weaned per ewe lifetime +0.500 percent; clean fleece weight -0.12kg; fibre diameter +0.81 micron and a general merit -0.81.
