Wauldby Dohnes held their annual production sale on the 12th of March 2025. A total of 42 rams sold at an average price of R9,167. Congratulations to the Bothas of Pearston on the purchase of the top priced ram for R17,000. This “A” ram, (B220164), had breeding values of: number of lambs weaned per ewe lifetime -0.38 percent; weaning weight direct -0.10 kg; weaning weight maternal -0.06 kg; body weight +0.75 kg; clean fleece weight +0.01 kg; fibre diameter +0.72 micron and general merit of -2.44.
