Tweeddale Dohnes held their annual production sale on the 4th of March 2025. A total of 65 rams sold at an average price of R8,408. Congratulations to Barend van Heerden of Queenstown on the purchase of the top priced ram for R25,000. This ram, (RA220156), born as one of a twin, had breeding values of: number of lambs weaned per ewe lifetime +1.79 percent; weaning weight direct +1.53 kg; weaning weight maternal +0.36 kg; body weight +3.06 kg; clean fleece weight +0.14 kg; fibre diameter +0.53 micron and general merit of +11.86.
