Crux Dohnes held their 8th annual production sale in the usual Marques tent on the farm De Put of president, DMBS – Mr. Koos Vosloo. Severe drought conditions had every member of this progressive stud breeding group on his toes. Contrary to expectations, the sale culminated in an excellent result for both sellers and buyers. Compared to 2015, Crux Dohnes sold 15 rams more at a price of only R1157 lower. The concept of selling a larger number of rams at more affordable prices to large commercial enterprises, that are also veld adapted, is obviously paying dividends.
