Mark and Freddy Schmidt held Kromspruit Dohnes’ annual production sale with excellent results on the 9th of July, 2021. The sale was held in electronic format due to Covid-19 restrictions at that time. Consequently no photograph of the highest priced ram sold at R30,000 with it new owner, Mr. JF Eloff, could be taken. Despite all complications, Mark and Freddy Schmidt sold the 62 excellent Dohne Merino rams on offer at the average price of R16,323. The highest priced ram, FS200067 had excellent breeding values of +2.778 percent lambs weaned; +2.715 kg weaning direct; -0.176 kg weaning maternal; +0.333 kg clean fleece weight and -0.982 micron for fibre diameter.
