Swarco Dohnes, Caledon – Production sale – 2021

Swarco Dohnes held their annual production sale in conjunction with the Caledon ram sale 0n Wednesday the 9th of June, 2021. A total of 40 top Dohne Merino rams were sold at the average price of R15,750. The top priced ram, MS180669 with breeding values of +2.593 percent (number of lambs weaned), +1.976 kg (weaning direct), +0.529 kg (weaning maternal), +0.172 kg (clean fleece weight) and -0.944 micron (fibre diameter), was sold at R51,000 to Stellenbosch University (Mr. John Morris).
