Trinity Dohnes – Production sale 2023

Carpe diem Trust held the Trinity Dohnes production sale on 23 January 2023 in the district of Wepener.  A total of 30 excellent Dohne Merino rams were sold at the average price of R7533. The top priced ram JT210164, was sold at the price of R13 000 to Mr. Lodewyk Knauff.  The ram had breeding values of: weaning weight direct 3.093 kg; weaning weight maternal -0.433 kg; number of lambs weaned -1.75 percent; clean fleece weight +0.245 kg; fibre diameter +0.247 micron; general merit +8.31.
